Finally...

We have been fighting with Kamden at naptime and bedtime for a couple of months now. Well ever since we tried switching her to a big girl bed, which didnt work. At naptime it was about an hour long fight with her and at bedtime it could be anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours. It was exhausting and it always left me in tears by the time she gave in. Well I've been letting her skip nap hoping bedtime would be better. Yeah right, by 5pm she is the Exorcist child. She even went to the doctor about it on Thursday. Ever since she was about 18 months she has been waking up 2-5 times a night... every night. Well the doctor said "oh its probably heartburn, here's some meds." Yeah thanks doc but my 3 year old would tell me if her chest or throat was hurting. Believe me she is a major drama queen. So anyways.. yesterday at naptime she got out of bed so I said fine if you want to get out of bed you can. Catcher is now she has to come and sit in the corner. She can't have toys, she can't stand up and walk around just sit there. So anyways after sitting there she let me know that she was now ready to go to bed. She went right to bed. Last night the same thing she sat there for a couple of mintues and then said "me sleepy" and went to bed. After all this time I finally figured it out... make it super boring if she doesnt want to sleep!




The girls took turns yesterday sitting on each other laps and fixing their hair.



I'm imagining this is what baby boy is going to look like. These are Addi's favorite Pj's and she's been wearing the hat for days now.
